Operadyse has been founded by Damien Marco in 2006 in Montpellier.

Driven by his passion for movie soundtracks (Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman..) and for Power Metal (Gamma Ray, Helloween, Rhapsody Of Fire ..), he began to write songs focusing on symphonic instrumentations and lyrics, keystone of the Operadyse's sound, with powerful guitar and bass lines.

With the collaboration of his two best friends, Bastien Sablé (keyboards) et Jennifer Lassalle (vocals), they began to work on the first Operadyse's compositions (Celestial Sword, Fairies Secret Garden..). After having hired others musicians to have a whole line-up, Operadyse participated to the Duels Rock 2009 in Montpellier and wan the competition, awarding the recording of its first EP: «Hope Era Dies».

However, after the leaving of the drummer and the bassist due to opinion conflicts, Damien finally hired Emmanuel Colombier (Ultra Vomit, Era Nova) and Stéphane Lambert as drummer and bassist respectively. The efficiency of this line-up and the motivation of the members has generated a composition processus allowing to play live locally.

Unfortunately, Jennifer Lassalle left the band in 2011 due to personnal reasons. Unable to find the proper songstress to replaced Jennifer, Damien took a radical decision: proposing the position to Franck Garcia, the amazing singer of the progressive Metal band Spheric Universe Experience. Franck motivated and impressed by the talent of Damien and the power of the operadyse's songs accepted the challenge without any hesitations.

From this point, the band actively worked to complete the compositions of the first album: «Pandemonium». The recording has been done at Drudenhaus Studio (produced by Xort, ex-Anorexia Nervosa keyboardist) in Nantes in 2012 and has been completed in early 2013. Operadyse has been signed by the German label Sonic Attack Records / SPV (owned by Karl Walterbach - Noise Records founder) and by Avalon Marquee (Greatest Metal label in Japan).

Bastien Sablé left the band in end of 2013 in order to spend more time working on his passion for photography. Emmanuel Colombier left the band as well in order to be more concentrated on his main band Ultra Vomit. In early 2014, Vincent Labelle (from the Death Metal band «Antropofago») has integrated the band as the drummer and Gianni Nardone as the keyboardist.
